Here’s what we’re all about
allCAPS productions evolved over twenty years from a passionate hobby to an occasional pastime and, more recently, to a primary activity. “We” are really a one-person operation. Dave produces and directs live theatre, dance productions and special events in the San Francisco Bay Area. Specializing in youth and community theatre, he is the resident Stage Director for the Campolindo High School Musical Theatre program and has been a performer, Stage Manager, Technical Director, Stagehand and gofer for theaters in the area for thirty years. He is passionate about the value of performing arts in education and the community at large. With a little more time open now, Dave is available for more productions beyond the scope of his two main clients.

About Dave
A fifty year resident of the Bay Area, Dave’s early career as a stud manager involved managing breeding operations for several horse ranches in California and Texas. As personal computers became a “thing” in the ‘80s, Dave began a second career in IT support, which was his “day job” through 2020. Along the way, harkening back to his original college major, he performed in community theater and tagged along as stage hand, stage manager and technical director as his son & daughter made their way through youth theater, community theater and, ultimately, to Broadway and beyond. He’s been directing high school musicals and other events, now, for twenty years, with an occasional on-stage performance to keep him sharp. He still produces two shows a year for his daughter’s dance studio, even though she graduated fifteen years ago.
