allCAPS productions is a one-person operation. Dave has performing arts contacts throughout the Bay Area and can help fill production roles for you or, when he is available, he’ll fill whatever production role you need himself - from stagehand to director.

What does it cost?

Let’s chat about your needs first… Dave will be candid about his availability and whether allCAPS is the right fit for what you need. He’ll either recommend some of his theater friends to help you or work out a reasonable hourly or fixed fee contract based on the requirements of your production.

We can help facilitate rental space for your show, but we have no theater of our own.

what does “allcaps” mean?

The name of the production company refers to “All Capital Letters” and was inspired by one of Dave’s mentors, Mike Matthews, a music director who passed away unexpectedly. One of his good friends described him as having a large, infectious laugh, a big personality and boundless energy… Mike, they said, did everything in “all caps!”

why does your logo look like it has typographic mistakes?

Art - particularly performance - is an iterative and messy process. It takes trial and error, imaginative chaos, and lots of practice to build something that is artful and entertaining. The allCAPS logo symbolizes that we never get it “right” or “perfect” - but we keep trying.
